So this is merely crying wolf and a WMD. And then when a real allegation surfaces that Dr Mahathir has parked an estimated RM100-200 billion of Umno’s money in his name, and that he refuses to return the money to the party, people would ignore it and not take a second glance at the issue.
Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and DAP are playing a tag-team game of WMD (weapon of mass distraction). And this is how the game is being played.
DAP lodges a report with the MACC saying that Dr Mahathir has accumulated RM1.194 trillion.
DAP further alleges that Dr Mahathir wants to bring this money back to Malaysia but Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak is blocking him from doing so.
DAP then alleges that this is the reason why Dr Mahathir is attacking Najib and is trying to oust him.
The reason why Dr Mahathir and DAP are embarking on this WMD exercise is so that the MACC can investigate this most ridiculous and preposterous allegation. Of course the allegation is a red herring. So the MACC is not going to find anything.
And then when the MACC finds nothing and announces that they have found nothing Dr Mahathir is going to be given a clean bill of health. Thereafter, any further allegations against Dr Mahathir would be pooh-poohed as hogwash.
It is actually a very clever move and anyone other than Raja Petra Kamarudin (which would mean 99% of you out there) would have swallowed this hook, line and sinker. But RPK knows better.
This is called crying wolf. If you cry wolf once people would come running. A second time and people would still come running. The third time you cry wolf and no one would bother to come even if this time it is true and there is a wolf about to sailang your sheep.

This move is also meant to deflect the allegation against his sons and the questions being raised as to how come they are so wealthy in a short space of time with no tangible reasons as to why they are so wealthy.
By the time real issues begin to surface the red herring issues would have neutralised them — the third crying wolf, which people would ignore.
Note that Dr Mahathir has challenged Najib to sue those who have made allegations against him if those allegations are not true. And if Najib does not sue then the allegations must be true.
Dr Mahathir, however, not only did not sue, but he also did not even bother to rebut the allegation of the RM1.194 trillion. This is because he wants this allegation to be investigated so that it can be proven false and once one allegation is proven false then all allegations thereafter have to be false as well.
With the latest allegation by Abdul Hamid that Mahathir attacked Najib because Najib stopped Mahathir from repatriating RM1.194 trillion of funds back to Malaysia, is Mahathir now unofficially the “richest” man in the world?
Tun Mahathir’s former comrade Abdul Hamid has alleged that the reason behind Mahathir’s attack on Najib was because Mahathir was unable to transfer RM1.194 trillion of funds back to Malaysia. Abdul Hamid also alleges that Najib as the Finance Minister refused to sign on the RM1.194 trillion transfer of funds.
This revelation, if true, is both shocking and explosive as it set not only one but three world records.
Firstly, the RM1.194 trillion (US$279 billion) would make Mahathir the richest man in the world, where his net worth will be 3.5 times more than the 2015 Forbes Richest man in the world, Bill Gates at USD79.2 billion.
Secondly, the RM1.194 trillion of funds owned by Mahathir will make him the only former premier in the world that accumulated wealth which is equal to 4.47 times of the country’s national budget. Malaysia total expenditure in budget 2016 is RM267 billion.
Thirdly, Mahathir will also be the only former premier in the world that amassed wealth that could pay off the entire national external debt in the world. Malaysia’s external currently stood at RM740.7 billion.
Mahathir must come clean on how he has accumulated such an astronomical amount of wealth which is 3.5 times more than Bill Gates net worth, 4.47 times of the national budget and 1.6 times of the country external debt. He must disclose his source of income and also the total amount of taxes he paid to accumulate such a huge amount of wealth.
DAP Perak has today lodged a report at MACC Ipoh against Tun Mahathir on the allegation by Abdul Hamid. I urge MACC to investigate if the RM1.194 trillion of funds was acquired by Mahathir illegally and take immediate action if there were any wrongdoings committed.
