The results of the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2020 examinations will be announced on June 10 at 10am. The Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE) in a statement shared on its official Facebook page, explained that schools and private candidates can get their results via two methods – first, either by heading to myresult1.moe.gov.my or myresult2.moe.gov.my.
Candidates can also check via the second method which is by using short message service (SMS) to get a summary of their SPM 2020 results by typing SPM IC Number SPM Turn Number and send to 68886. According to MOE, students can start checking their results from 10am on that date, which falls on a Thursday until 6pm on June 17. The statement also elaborated,
“For school candidates who do not have internet access, the school will identify the candidates and guide them with the appropriate method to obtain examination results.”
According to MOE, for private candidates who do not have internet access, the State Education Department or District Education Office will identify the private candidates and guide them with the appropriate method to obtain their examination results too. A total of 401,105 candidates registered to sit for the SPM 2020 examination at 3,310 examination centres nationwide from February 22 to March 25.
The SPM 2020 examination has been considered the most challenging in its 57 -year history of implementation as it was carried out with full standard operating procedures (SOP) in place, thanks to the pandemic.
