While the Muslims are forced to deal with the evil film producer who has nothing better to do but make the world a less safer place, and while we have to deal with the evil at home, Ngeh Khoo Ham a.k.a DAP for their insensitivity and blatant views over the protest of the film, we should never overlook on another evil threat that not only aimed at our religion, but our family values, morale and society as a whole – that is the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgenders (LGBT) syndrome.
If I’m not mistaken, it is only about a few years ago that we realize about the seriousness of the LGBT threat in our country, although we have been alerted on their quite disturbing numbers in about 10 years before that – no thank you to Anwar Ibrahim’s sodomy case.
Since around the same time, the LGBT group and activists in Malaysia have been fighting tirelessly to make a statement of their existence and to force the nation to accept their ‘unnatural sexuality’. Sexualiti Merdeka programme was one of their most daring effort to promote the most heinous and disgusting activities as a natural thing.
The fact that Islam is an official religion of the country and that such activities are against the law do not stop them from fighting. These lost souls roam the streets and the internet trying to lure the innocents, the youngsters into the darkest world of modern Sodom and Gomorrah or Pompeii, where lust rules.
In order to curb this group from forcing this uncivilized way of living into our society, the government is said to have come out with guidelines to spot the symptoms of LGBT in schoolchildren. Among them, is the preference in wearing tight v-neck, light coloured shirt could be a sign that a boy is gay.
And this has created an uproar in the world of the gays, their supporters and their sympathizers. Malaysia has been criticized by the western and the gay/LGBT media all over the world. Back home too, the LGBT rights activists have decided to make fun of the guidelines and of course, the government.
For them, the guidelines are ridiculous as one’s sexuality should and could not be judged by the fashion or the colour of his shirt.
Well, I must admit that they have a point there although it is a well-known fact that the gays are more ‘into’ this type of fashion so that they could easily be spotted by their own kind, as I was told.
But the problem is, even though they might have a point on the fashion, it was not their only point or not even their real point at all for mocking the guidelines and the government.
Their main point is to mock on everything that says the LGBT is wrong or a sin.
For this, they have gone a step too far because they are actually mocking Islam, our family values as well as moral values which are the pillar of a healthy and well-functioned society.
Which also means at the same time, that they are openly challenging the Malaysian constitution and law, that put Islam as the official religion.
So, what is the difference between these activists, and Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, the evil producer of Innocence of Muslims? Aren’t they all purposely mocking and challenging the Muslims? Islam? And the teachings of the Quran?
Note that an LGBT activist and a founder of Sexualiti Merdeka event, Pang Khee Teik had voiced out that the mocking of the guidelines by certain quarters is a statement of protest against LGBT discrimination.
Taking the step even further, these activists are planning a bigger event to express their ‘amusement’ over the ‘spot the gay-symptom fashion-guidelines’. The event will be called National Wear V- neck Day where everybody is called to wear V-neck just to have a good laugh at the government.
The event planned for the 1st October already has over 1700 attendees registered on Facebook.
And if that is not enough to prove the real point of the group, Reverend O Young Wen Feng (also known as Ngeo Boon Lin), the Malaysian gay pastor who held a wedding reception with his husband in Kuala Lumpur in August, has also endorsed the event on his facebook.
Therefore, obviously, it is not about the guidelines being ridiculous, but it is about promoting and fighting for LGBT rights.
It is always about saying that the Islamic teaching is wrong. It is always about the Muslim leadership is a hindrance to the ultimate freedom quest. It is always about the law on homosexuality is archaic and outdated, just like Anwar Ibrahim had once stated.
If the V-neck guideline is ridiculous, the National V-Neck Day is nothing but taking the ridiculousness to a higher level.
The LGBT activists may get thousands of registered attendees for the ridiculous event, but parents in Malaysia who are against LGBT lifestyle are in millions – from all races and religions.
The LGBT communities all over the world may mock the Quran, the guidelines or the government, but the majority of straight, rationale Malaysians would stand behind the government that cares for our children and family. Really, if you are called ridiculous by some ridiculous people, then you have nothing to worry about.
