Some say that the Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak is playing this riddle on when the Parliament would be dissolved to open the way for the next General Election.
Despite that, perhaps many have forgotten the fact that Pakatan Rakyat is ruling four states, and from that number, two states have stated openly that they would not dissolve their DUN as same as the day the Parliament would be dissolved.
Too bad, these two states, (Selangor and Penang), who did not state when would they dissolve their DUN, fail to realize that Pakatan Rakyat leaders are the ones who are pushing the government to announce the date as soon as possible.
Writer do understand why they are pushing the government. Every one need to know when the date is. But writer want everyone to know that there are issues of integrity and credibility when it comes to this. And that is what differentiates us from BN.
Thus, writer would like to push Penang and Selangor to announce the dissolution of their Dun as soon as possible.
Then, we could push Najib to announce the date for the parliament to be dissolved because this is how we can show that rakyat can put their hopes on Pakatan Rakyat.
And that is how we can show that we are more credible than Najib.
Everyone need to remember that this is not about Najib, this is about policy. BN has been using the same policy for decades, they would keep the real date as a strategy to strenghten their power. Pakatan Rakyat do not have to follow BN’s way.
Najib is not the only one in power, we have our states, let us not misuse the power and announce the date to rakyat.
We do it first, then others would follow, that is how we do it.
