Despite of being retired, Tun Mahathir remain as the opposition’s biggest nemesis. His determination in helping BN for the coming GE13 is really making things tough for the opposition.
Up to a point where they can no longer stop Tun Mahathir’s aura and unable to stop his words from inspiring others, and they start to question why isn’t he dead yet. They also can no longer hide their personal vengeance against him by openly stated how they want to imprison him once they took over Putrajaya.
At the same time, their cyber troopers have been ordered to attack Tun Mahathir. Thus, various articles are published against him. Few of the interesting ones include the story on how he is the 2nd richest man in the world, published by a pro-opposition blog.
“The weirdest thing happened yesterday when the name of former Premier, Tun Mahathir mysteriously erased from Wikipedia’s list which informs the amount of asset owned by current and retired leaders in countries around the world. With 53 references, Wikipedia has listed Mahathir as the second richest world leader, behind Egypt President, Hosni Mubarak who has assets worth around US $40 to US$ 70 billion.”
Somehow, this information was taken from Wikipedia, however, soon after they browsed through it, it was gone. It is uncertain why did they mentioned it was erased all of the sudden. Are they trying to describe that Wikipedia is under the control of Tun Mahathir or BN?
Thing is, whenever we browse through Wikipedia regarding Malaysian political figures, or even Google for them, we will find most of the information often biased towards the opposition. Thus, where is the logic that Wikipedia, google, or even yahoo, are controlled by Tun Mahathir or BN.
It is weird to find out about the information on Tun Mahathir’s asset only revealed just before GE13. For the past 22 years before he retired, nothing like this ever came up. With the opposition labelling him as ‘corrupt’, why isn’t there any effort to drag him to court? If the opposition could make an attempt to sue him over seditious charge on Anwar, why not charge him over corruption issue?
If the excuse is that the court is not fair as it is in the control of Tun Mahathir, why is Anwar running free?
That is why, our message to the opposition, if you do want to make allegations, at least, make it consistent. Inconsistent allegations are easy to break. After all the lies revealed, why still do the same?
According to Forbes list, the second richest man in the world is Bill Gates with asset worth USD67 billion. Tun Mahathir is not even in that list.
Tun Mahathir’s routine also prove that he is not that luxurious. Without the title of former Premier and Petronas Advisor all of the benefits he has been getting in terms of travelling would have been tough for him. It would be a lie to say that Tun Mahathir is poor. If it is true, than it would be a hit to Malaysia as a prosperous country. There should be something wrong with this country if a former Premier, who has contributed a lot for the country, to live in poor condition.
No matter how rich or poor Tun Mahathir is, what is certain, he is still unable to own or rent charter jet and helicopter like Anwar, just to campaign. However, it would be a lie that Tun Mahathir could nto afford to stay in luxury hotels overseas. However, he is not as great as Anwar as he does all that hundreds of times with his own money.
Lets not forget that Anwar travel overseas not on invitation, it is usually based on his own initiative to tarnish the image of this country. Unlike Tun Mahathir where most of his travelling are based on invitations and all the costs covered by those who invited him.
That is why, if Tun Mahathir is said to be the 2nd richest in the world, where should Anwar sit? Moreover, where does Bill Gate stand? Or Carlos Slim Helu, the current richest man in the world according to Forbes.
Is the opposition trying to say that Forbes is also controlled by Tun Mahathir for not publishing the truth?
