MCA: Will DAP take action against Hew?
MCA today continued to ramp up its attack against arch rival DAP, saying that the socialist party was a hypocrite in nature.
MCA’s religious harmony bureau secretary Chris Daniel Wong said while DAP leaders had continuously meddled into the affairs of BN component parties, they have taken offence when others start commenting on DAP matters.
Wong was particularly incensed with DAP organising secretary Anthony Loke who had recently told off BN leaders to stay out of commenting on DAP matters.
“Time after time, DAP through people like Lim Guan Eng, Anthony Loke and Tony Pua have always made statements against MCA and interfered into MCA’s internal affairs with BN component parties.
“But people like Hew Kuan Yau – aka ‘Superman’ – must be reprimanded for his vulgar foul language.
“After having resigned from the party, why is Hew Kuan Yau still speaking at DAP ceramah?” asked Wong in a statement today.
He went on to ask if DAP was condoning Hew’s culture of racist, hatred and obscene language.
“Does this mean that by not being a party member, DAP does not need to take action on people like Hew?
“Does it mean that DAP now approves of him being a DAP-led friendly and endorse his theme of using “Melayu to screw Melayu” in his ceramah?
“If so, then does it mean that “Melayu screw Melayu” is now DAP’s official stand? Since there is no reprimand from the party leadership, silence is akin to agreement.”
The MCA man also mocked DAP by saying that the party would not bother to explain its policies to the rakyat if it comes to power at all.
“If DAP ever becomes the federal government of the day, and the people ask how they spend the national budget, perhaps they are going to reply: “DAP does not need to explain to you. You are nobody, just a small little rakyat among the millions,” which is now happening in Penang.
“When asked how the undersea tunnel feasibility study came up to RM350 million, someone responded “I sue you.”
“When the Penang state government was asked about the cost of the land reclamation, someone responded “I sue you.”
“When people asked about the statistics of their state economics, someone will say “shut up”,” he said.
Wong added that MCA president Liow Tiong Lai was right in saying that DAP lacked moral compass for working with Dr Mahathir Mohamad now after having had accused the former premier of destroying Malaysia‘s economy for 22 years.
“Such a fragile alliance will only bring fragile peace and more upheavals to our country due to differences of ideology,” he warned.
