1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) mengesahkan semua dokumen miliknya sudah dikemukakan kepada Jabatan Audit Negara.
Namun laporan awal masih belum dikongsi dengan 1MDB, dan oleh itu ia tidak dapat mengulas mengenai kenyataan Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Kira-kira Wang Negara (PAC) bahawa beberapa dokumen tidak dikemukakan, kata Presiden dan Pengarah Eksekutif Kumpulan Arul Kanda menerusi satu kenyataan pada Khamis.
Seperti diminta oleh Pengerusi PAC katanya, 1MDB akan segera menghubungi Jabatan Audit Negara untuk mendapatkan penjelasan mengenai dokumen yang disebut oleh Pengerusi PAC itu.
1MDB merujuk kepada laporan media hari ini yang memetik Pengerusi PAC yang mengesahkan bahawa tiada sebarang perkara yang meragukan dalam siasatan awal oleh Ketua Audit Negara (AG).
“Kami ambil maklum, terutama, ulasan pengerusi PAC mengenai siasatan menyeluruh AG termasuk memeriksa dokumen yang diperoleh daripada IMDB serta pihak lain,” kata Arul.
Dalam kenyataan itu, 1MDB mengulangi komitmennya untuk bekerjasama penuh dengan Ketua Audit Negara dan pihak berkuasa lain yang sedang menyiasat syarikat terbabit.

“1MDB refers to media reports today quoting the Public Accounts Committee (PAC Chairman), who confirmed that nothing suspicious had been discovered in the interim investigation by the Auditor-General. We note in particular, the PAC Chairman’s comments on the thoroughness of the AG’s investigation, which included inspecting documents obtained from 1MDB and other parties.
1MDB confirms that all documents in its possession have been submitted to the National Audit Department. As the interim report has not yet been shared with 1MDB, we are unable to comment on the PAC Chairman’s statement that certain documents appear to have not been submitted.
As requested by the PAC Chairman, we will immediately contact the National Audit Department to seek clarity on which documents the PAC Chairman is referring to.
1MDB reiterates our commitment to fully cooperate with the Auditor-General and all lawful authorities that are currently investigating 1MDB.”
