Yahoo-Frees-up-ID

Always wanted that particular ID as your email address but can’t because it’s been snagged up, even all other combinations of your entire name and birth date have all been taken? Well, Yahoo announced that they will be resetting their database and free up IDs for accounts that have been inactive for over a year on mid-July so you know what to do.

The Yahoo ID not only applies to its Email services, but it will be used across a whole host of Yahoo products such as Flickr, Mail, Weather, the Homepage, and Search. Calling albert9330399@yahoo.com, albert@yahoo.com might be up for grabs. Calling albert@yahoo.com, you better log into your inactive account before it gets snagged up. Yahoo will be freeing up accounts for users who have been inactive for at least 12 months in mid July and according to Yahoo’s blog, “in mid August, users who staked a claim on certain IDs can come to Yahoo! to discover which one they got”.

Now, go log into your Yahoo account before it’s too late, it comes with 1TB of space in Flickr.
