Anwar Is Playing The Political Conspiracy Drama Again - pakdin.my

Once again the opposition is throwing accusation to the government sating that their actions in prosecuting PKR’s General Leader, Anwar Ibrahim and the Vice President of the party, Azmin Ali regarding the BERSIH 3.0 Assembly is based on a political motive.

Malaysians are tired with excuses given by Anwar every time prosecution is made against him.

His dismissal by the Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad in 1998 was described as a “high-level political conspiracy ‘.

The same thing happened during the sodomy trial, the first one, 14 years ago and the second time in 2008, those were also described as a ‘conspiracy’ to block Anwar away from Putrajaya.

To strenghten their argument, they even dragged in international human rights watchdogs such as Human Rights Watch to support Bersih 3.0 in slamming the government.

That is the attitude and behavior of opposition leaders especially Anwar and his gang who only depend on NGOs support from the United States or even European nations to support their political move which was clearly had broken the law of this country.

Anwar and the opposition coalition which he leads wants to be seen that they are free to do just about anything to slam the government without any legal restrictions.

This includes organizing series of ceramah without any permit around the country and demonstrations that ended up with a riot.

During the Bersih 3.0 Assembly last April 28, the ones who were injured were not just supporters, even the media and police officers were hurt during the whole incident.

It was all due to the order, as seen in the video, that was made by Anwar to the supporters asking them to break into Dataran Merdeka which was already announced as a restricted zone.

The same thing goes to its main organizer, Ambiga Sreenevasen, a senior lawyer who is supposed to have a vast knowledge of the law, ended up acting like an opposition leader. The opposition thinks that they are free from all of the crimes that they have committed, that is why they do not consider any legal consequences that they might face.

They even mocked the Peaceful Assembly Act 2012 that was passed to solve issues that involves street demonstrations such as Bersih 3.0.

Government’s action in prosecuting Anwar, Azmin and a few other opposition leaders in this issue should be complimented.

This showed that in order to protect the public order and national security, the government should be firm and do not choose sides.

Whoever breaks the law, no matter what are their positions in the society, even if one is an Opposition Leader, is not free from the law.

Either Anwar and Azmin are guilty or not, that is up to the court to decide based on the arguments and evidents that are there in front of them.
